\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDescription\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCorteva has an exciting opportunity and is seeking individuals for the role of Regional Digital Agronomist across defined North America production locations. The Regional Digital Agronomist will utilize innovative technology and digital agronomy to drive higher yields optimized costs, improved reliability, and enhanced relationships with our production agronomy teams and seed growers. In this role, you will serve as a change management leader and support contact for agronomists utilizing digital platforms and agronomic data to deliver improved productivity on seed fields. You will have the opportunity to leverage your leadership skills by serving as the lead for training and development of precision agronomy technology with the production agronomy teams to support digital efforts. The clear outcome of this role will be enabling our production agronomy teams to drive improved productivity and quality in seed production fields.\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tThis position will support seed production, parent seed, and select research locations in the Eastern U.S., preferably in Iowa or Illinois.\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhat You'll Do:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCoordinate and lead the delivery, execution, and support of digital agronomy platforms and services for local production agronomy teams.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tProvide coaching, training, and support of agronomists and seed growers on equipment monitors, in-field data collection, digital agronomy platforms, and internal programs.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tEnsure that digital agronomy tools and strategies drive seed field productivity, and results in the creation of a competitive advantage through increased yields, quality, and cost management.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tConsulting for and accountable for all aspects of seasonal data collection and management, including planting, as-applied, fertility, and harvest operations across multiple seed production locations.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tFocus on driving optimized grower and field selection by leveraging data science, identifying improvement areas, and maintaining alignment with grower compensation methods.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPlan, execute, and analyze digital agronomic research across seed fields, and communicate summaries that can be used to support product management, positioning, and training.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDevelop and implement strategies that increase local awareness and generate demand for the digital agronomy portfolio of services and products.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tIdentify, understand, and assess production agronomist and seed grower needs and provide feedback to the organization on digital agriculture, program effectiveness, and competitive activity.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tBecome a subject matter expert of field-based seed corn production practices through partnership with local teams.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tContinue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies, management innovations, and agronomic practices.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tOvernight travel 20-25%.
