Amusement Park Overwhelmed By Job Seekers
By Erik Even \| Dated: 02-15-2009

The Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio is looking to fill about 4,000 seasonal jobs. Managers said they’ve already been overwhelmed with applications. Many of the job seekers were high school and college students looking for summer work, but some applicants said they were victims of the recession. “I had a weekend job and was laid off, in the housing market. So I’m just looking for something in the summer,” Monica Lung said. The job fair is open again on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park will open April 18, but staffing is traditionally done in plenty of time for training.

You and Your Career Deserve The Best.
Most job boards concentrate on using small sales forces to get recruiters and employers to post jobs for hundreds of dollars. ScientistCrossing concentrates on using a highly trained research staff of hundreds of people and technology to track down the positions of every US employer. We monitor their websites, we monitor other job boards—we do whatever it takes to provide you with every quality job that matches your interests that we can find.

You can trust ScientistCrossing because we work for you—the job seeker—and not employers or recruiters. Our job is to find you job openings that match your needs, not to sell job ads. ScientistCrossing is a job-opening research company and not a job ad sales company. ScientistCrossing works for you.
