ROLE SYNOPSIS The Geologist Advisor processes and interprets LWD and wire line image data and presents interpretations and provides solutions to an extensive client base. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
LWD and wire line image data processing, QC and interpretation. Performs geological interpretation and analysis using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques to provide Best In Class solutions for the client. Presents data, interpretations, and reports to clients either individually or as part of the larger project team. Help mentor junior geoscientists. Advises clients on geosciences matters and provides solutions. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Geoscience or related Earth Science discipline with minimum 5 years relevant work experience. Excellent problem solving skills with a drive for results. Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and have a strong client focus. Excellent written and verbal communication. Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base. Must be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to advise clients on geosciences matters and provides solutions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree in Geoscience or related earth science discipline with minimum 3 years relevant work experience or PhD in Geoscience or related earth science discipline with minimum 2 years relevant work experience. Demonstrates ability to perform geological interpretation and analysis independently. Strong understanding of sedimentology, structural geology, stratigraphy, petroleum geology, and subsurface mapping techniques. Increased awareness of business acumen and knowledge of products from other BHI business segments. Ability to advise clients on geosciences matters and provides solutions. OTHER DETAILS
