Profile

Planning and implementing formulation development work under the supervision of the Formulation Group Leader; performing analysis of raw materials, APis, excipients and drug products with all needed methods; performing independent studies to collect data and report results to group leader and upper management; creating and revising technical reports, maintaining appropriate lab records, along with initiating and generating ideas based on scientific reading and research; performing and devising new formulations or revising existing ones and transferring to partner for drug product formulation; performing optimization of the process by DOE and QbD methods and scaling up of the formulation studies to pilot/production scale; proposing improvements based on formulation studies; maintaining and modifying of the related scientific instruments and equipment used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing processes; performing hardware development and acquisition as needed for formulation and PD work; and working with different departments in the company at various stages of drug product development.



Minimum Educational Requirement: Master of Science in Chemistry or Equivalent.



Compensation: $70,000.00 per year.



Monday-Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break, 40 hours per week).
