Description:
Multiple projects to develop best practices, new technologies and oversee and apply aerosol technology to new skin care formulations for new product development strategies, along with presentations. Data interpretation and documentation to advance projects. Marketing and other dept. interface. Company representative at tech or industry functions. Patent SWOT analyses; recommend strategies; integrate with consumer insights group on product development.
Qualifications:
BS Chemistry or MS or PHD Chemistry or ChemEng. 5 yrs min aerosol skin care/ emulsion experience, sunscreens products (int'l formulations a plus, including lotions, sprays, gels, sticks.) Must know OTC regulatory sun care regulations, Know raw material functions and properties, regulatory requirements. Able to travel to contract manufacturing sites, vendors, industry meetings, and external seminars and occasional int'l travel (Europe, Japan, &/or Latin America. Must be able to work at lab bench and operate equipment.
