Our client, a mid-sized and fast growing Energy Trust, is looking for a Developmental/Production Geologist for their carbonate field assets in an area in Saskatchewan. You will have at least 3 years of carbonate and horizontal drilling experience, and more than 5 years of Geology experience. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing mature fields / carbonate reservoirs
- Providing sustainable growth opportunities for the assets
- Analyzing geological data and production data
- Recommending methods to optimize existing wells and fields
- Proposing new well locations within existing fields based on geological data
- Mapping
In addition to the interesting work, the total compensation package for this position is extremely generous.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in Geology with professional designation
- A Masters or PhD degree will be considered a strong asset
- Minimum of five years experience as a Geologist
- At least three years developing carbonate reservoirs using horizontal drilling technology
- Geological mapping experience is mandatory
