Research Associate / Research Editor – Human Resources or Talent Management - Boston Area

A marketing research firm in the Boston Area is seeking a Research Associate/Research Editor with strong skills in the following areas: analytics; qualitative research; statistics; project management; and writing The Research Analyst is a permanent position with opportunity for advancement.
This is a confidential search and we seek candidates with integrity and an appreciation for confidentiality. The Associate / Editor is dedicated to providing research, project management and writing support to senior level analysts, contributes to customer initiatives and to larger research projects.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in market research on new and emerging technology trends/business processes
• Track and monitor emerging trends and technologies within the HR and/or talent management marketplace
• Coordinate and conduct qualitative research interviews, and conduct industry competitive analysis
• Create and administer quantitative surveys
• Conduct statistical analysis from data collected
• Create written documents based on analysis
• Provides project management support to help coordinate team efforts in delivering all research commitments
• Work with Analyst to produce research reports, sector insights, research briefs
• Writes research communications materials and press releases for the research team
• Manages research production processes for the research group they support
• Participates and observers vendor briefings and meetings
• Coordinates and plans the research team’s research advisory council (RAC) activities
• Manages on-going project communications with research clients

• Bachelor's degree is required
• Strong interest in HR trends, people development and emerging human capital management technologies is preferred
• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Experience with a statistical package is helpful
• Communicates well with people at all levels
• Ability to analyze and synthesize ideas in an independent fashion
• Committed to learning; commitment to teamwork
• Ability to work independently; self-motivating.
• High level of personal integrity
• Organized & detail oriented, with a strong ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Exhibits a high level of energy
