Venenum
is looking for a Ph.D. protein chemist/molecular biologist to join the Gene Expression and Protein Purification group. The successful candidate will contribute to the work of a multi-disciplinary community of scientists, generating the cell lines and reagents necessary for the development of novel diagnostic tests and therapeutics
Requirements
Extensive experience with protein purification by FPLC (or equivalent), using a variety of chromatographic different columns
Experience in recombinant DNA technology and the expression and purification of recombinant proteins from bacterial, yeast, insect and/or mammalian cells
Skills in protein refolding and the characterization of protein preparations by SEC, MALLS and LC-MS are highly desirable
Hands-on experience with bench-scale bioreactors and post-translational modification analysis would be a plus
