This position reports to the Center for Molecular Imaging in Phoenix, Arizona.Function: ResearchFamily: Product DevelopmentWhat Product Development contributes to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.Product Development is responsible for developing and commercializing new and improved products that meet or exceed customer requirements according to the established product development process and quality procedures.What is expected of you for success in your role

Demonstrates depth and breadth of knowledge within respective scientific discipline
Demonstrates proficiency in the product development process
Demonstrates proficiency in developing intellectual property and in mapping the competitive landscape within own product area
Leads large scale product development projects
Applies in-depth scientific knowledge and skills within respective discipline to product development projects
Develops and implements strategies for addressing a wide variety of project needs
May manage Senior Product Development Scientists or supervisors with primary focus on product development
Leverage expertise with regard to intellectual property, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements to support product development
Collaborates with business partners to develop customer offerings
Build large scale product development plans and ensure that contingency plans are in place
Resolves project related issues and ensures business expectations are met ','!*!What is expected of you and others at this level in Research for functional success

Works to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller pieces
Proactively develops and maintains broad knowledge of the technical disciplines in own functional area(s); applies broad knowledge of trends and

Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices;
Accountabilities in this role

PhD in Organic Chemistry preferred
Microfluidic chemistry experience preferred
Prior work with radioisotope preferred
Gamma and positron emitters experience preferred
Research and Development background preferred
Excellent written communication skills required with proven experience with report writing or published scientific articles.
Leadership skills are necessary to work collaborativelyQualifications
Ph.D. preferred or MS/BS in Analytical Chemistry.
Ph.D. with 0-3 years or MS/BS with more than 6 years experience in analytical support of pharmaceutical product development.
Strong background in pharmaceutical separation science.
Good understanding and application of scientific principles and techniques.
Experience with cGMP and ICH regulations.
