OverviewnResponsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures.nQualificationsnMinimum Education:nBaccalaureate degree in relevant science preferredn n Minimum Work Experience:nOne year clinical laboratory internship preferredn n Required Licenses/Certifications: nMT(ASCP) or equivalent registration, or MT eligible under Medicare laboratory regulationsn n nRequired Regulations: nAdhere to infection control policies and guidelines appropriate for their work area. Hand hygiene and PPE (job applicable) followed when appropriate.n n n Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: nThe registered Medical Technologist must have a sound knowledge of Clinical Laboratory science. The employee shall have the ability to perform highly advanced technical and complex analytic work. n
