Such biotechnology includes, but is not limited to Genomics, In-Vitro embryo production, and Cell Culture systems. This research role requires high technical ability in a production laboratory.Key Responsibilities Accomplishes short- and long-term experiments successfully. Demonstrates a high level of technical efficiency in a variety of methods. Carries out most experiments independently. Reports progress and presents results. Displays a positive attitude that supports overall scientific progress of the team displaying a high level of communication and organizational skills. Interested in learning and applying new methods and insights, focusing on team success. Actively participating in meetings. Effectively discusses all activities on a regular basis with their supervisor. Contributes to the optimization of existing methods and rapidly adapts new methods. Participate in carrying out routine lab functions including but not limited to, Bovine ovary collection and oocyte aspiration, embryo inventory, cleaning of lab equipment and supplies, and collecting and disposing of other tissues. Works effectively on multiple projects. Applies appropriate technologies to solutions of medium complexity Write detailed standard operating procedures and protocols. Interpret, analyze and summarize experimental data. Adheres to safety practices & guidelines in the workplace. Responsible for tasks, experiments and able to train and guide other scientists; improves time management. Typical EducationMaster's degree (M.A. or M.S.) or equivalent or PhD Relevant Experience3 years related experience and/or training in In-Vitro Fertilization and cell culture systems.Other Information Advanced understanding and knowledge in the field of biology, biotechnology, and Animal Science. Applies complex methodologies for conducting research experiments. Implements process improvement to facilitate experimental efficiency. Proficient use of appropriate tools to document and analyze research experiments. Advanced skills to perform assays and gather data. Progressive verbal and written communication skills. Responsible for meeting deadlines. Proven use of critical thinking and communication to solve technical problems. Experience working collaboratively and independently in support of team efforts. Experience in presenting experiment data, results and proficient in statistical analysis. Working collaboratively and effectively interact with cross-team members. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and good organization skills.
