Job DescriptionThis position leads the scientific planning and execution of one or more clinical trials or significant aspects thereof. In this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership, technical skills, and scientific acumen as part of a global, cross-functional team.Our Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance team push the boundaries of global healthcare through research and innovation. Through clinical trials and surveillance, we ensure the safety and efficacy of our existing and pipeline products to produce safe, effective, innovative medicine.Responsible for leading specific aspects of clinical/scientific execution of clinical protocol(s). This may include:nnServing as the lead clinical scientist on the clinical trial team.nLeading medical monitoring team in review and interpretation of clinical data/medical protocol deviations in collaborations with the Clinical Director.nnMinimum required education:nnBachelor's degree 5 years OR Master's 3 years Pharmaceutical and/or clinical drug development experience OR PhD / PharmD. Degree in life sciences, preferred.nnRequired experience and skills:nnSolid knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP and ICH)nAbility to manage multiple competing priorities with good planning, time management and prioritization skillsnStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret clinical trial data and synthesize conclusionsnInteract with key stakeholders across department, division, and company.nRole requires a proactive approach, strategic thinking and leadership in driving toward study goals.nInfluence opinions and decisions of internal and external customers/vendors, across functional areas, and within the divisionnApplying leadership skills to processes, leading meetings, and influencing peers in a matrix environment.nProblem solving, prioritization, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skillsnBuild team capabilities through proactive coachingnStrong communication, technical writing, and presentation skillsnClinical operations experience in the following oncology therapeutic areas: renal cell carcinomannWe are a research-driven biopharmaceutical company.
