Title: Associate Scientist nLocation: Darien, CT nStart date: ASAP nResponsibilities: n n Collects samples and prepares hair swatches to perform methods adhering to a set procedure. n Performs technical procedures to measure product performance on hair with variety of lab equipment. n Analyzes data, performs statistical calculations, and draws conclusions to substantiate claims. n Documents work and writes reports on product evaluation in conformance with company policies and standards. n Keeps laboratory consumables organized and stocked, assembling and dismantling instruments where necessary. n Aids in the research and development of new methods and exploratory claims substantiation. n Analyzes consumer insights and survey data to draw conclusions on new claims language and trends. n Maintains and stores internal documentation to company database. n n nRequirements: n n College Degree in science related field or equivalent laboratory experience. n Computer applications: Proficient MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and File Explorer n Ability to learn and develop comfort with various instrumentation software. n Careful adherence to established procedures and proposed experimental design. n Detail oriented and manual dexterity when working with instruments and samples. n Demonstrating integrity in performing tasks to produce repeatable data. n Excellent organizational and communication skills. n,
