Job Description : Responsible for acting as technical focal point for calibration activities. Responsible for researching equipment specifications and developing calibration procedures to ensure equipment meets specifications. Position requires interaction with assigned technicians, equipment users, test equipment manufacturers and various levels of management.Basic QualificationsDemonstrated ability to interpret specifications, drawings and schematics. Demonstrated ability to identify and quantify measurement uncertainties. Proven knowledgeable of laboratory safety requirements, general laboratory quality requirements and industry practices pertaining to calibration and repair of test and measuring equipment. Experience with MS Word and Excel.Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired skillsExperience in Physical/Dimensional disciplines such as pressure, mass, force, and close tolerance dimensional measurement.Experience managing controlled software. Experience with administrative tasks associated with a metrology laboratory. Experience researching technical requirements and creating technical documents.
