This position will support the U.S. Bancorp?s Fair and Responsible Banking Program and will be responsible for robust and comprehensive analysis of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (?HMDA?) data as well as the design, development and maintenance of statistical fair lending analysis specific to pricing risk and redlining risk, incorporating business policies, procedures, and systems knowledge. This position works with the Fair and Responsible Banking analytics groups along with business line stakeholders of various levels within the organization including Corporate Compliance and Business Line personnel, to help ensure the effective performance of the Policies and related programs. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** - Design, develop, test, monitor and support a variety of statistical methodologies using SAS programming. - Design, develop, and perform complex statistical analytics of Pricing and Redlining. Interpret results and communicate results concisely to various levels of management within the organization. - Perform robust data mining and data analysis across all HMDA data providing a comprehensive interpretation of the data and the lending performance inferred within U.S. Bank and its peer lending institutions. - Create analytical reports summarizing fair and responsible banking risk and present results concisely to management and external (regulatory staff) customers. - Create and maintain appropriate levels of technical writing documentation to support each analysis; ensuring quantitative methodology to asses fair lending risk is consistent with regulatory and industry expectations. - Support audits, examinations and periodic reviews to assess levels of risk and regulatory compliance. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to seven years of experience in an applicable risk management environment - Applicable professional certifications Preferred Skills\/Experience - At least five years of experience in extensive statistical data analytics including data manipulation, data transformation - Financial services industry experience and a working knowledge of related government and regulatory laws and regulations; in particular, the fair lending laws, Regulation C (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act ? HMDA), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act ?
