Social/Behavioral Scientist Key Role:
Use behavioral and social sciences, including cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and theory to respond to clients' challenges. Develop, test, and evaluate new algorithms, models, and analytic approaches and review research and development results for visual cognition, language processing, cognitive perception, decision making, and executive processes. Design behavioral analytic approaches and participate in their development, test, and evaluation. Produce statistical and computational analysis on a variety of datasets in accordance with industry best practices, including event history data and social media data. Work in collaboration with analysts from a variety of social science and engineering backgrounds and methodological perspectives. Apply knowledge of technical and analytical expertise to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of designing inquiries that can provide a competitive advantage or address a pressing business problem by discovering patterns and previously hidden insights. Advise on how to leverage domain expertise to comprehend data origins and context, ensure consistency of data, merge data sources together, and help others to gain a better understanding of data.
-2 years of experience with research design and execution
-Experience with statistical and computational analysis
-Top Secret clearance required
-MA or MS degree in Psychology, Political Science, or Sociology with a focus on quantitative methods
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-PhD degree in Psychology, Political Science, or Sociology
