This position is responsible for software development for the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) Optical Systems Branch Photogrammetrics Team, Patuxent River, MD.
Duties, Experience, Skills, Requirements, and Information:
All candidates will be required to pass a Drug Screenings
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Design and document software and algorithms for Photogrammetric calculations and analysis
Develop and implement new software
Test and maintain software products to ensure functionality and optimization
Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with analyst and project lead
Perform Image Analysis and Photo Analysis of project data, as required
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
Knowledgeable in computer software/hardware, automated data processing systems, and computer systems interfacing will be helpful
Proficiency with C and MatLab is a plus
Completed course and work with 3-D geometry and/or computer vision desired
Problem solving skills, critical analysis and attention to detail highly desired
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
U S Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret Security clearance, and ability to maintain clearance throughout employment. If the position requires a clearance.

Most work performed in enclosed buildings. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. This classification’s activities range from, an office-like environment with extensive sitting demands to a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight exceeds 50 pounds. Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus. The diversity of work conditions may range from an office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort to a flight line environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards.
