Job Description :
The candidate will perform and support the design and implementation of scientific modeling and simulation applications within the field of Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) to predict the scattering of complex targets. Specific interest in candidates with CEM code development utilizing Method of Moments (MoM) solution techniques or integral equation formulations, Physical Optics (PO) techniques, and High Performance Computing (HPC) in parallel processing environments. The candidate should be familiar with software development in a configuration-managed environment, and must have previous software development experience for Linux and Windows-based systems. Experience managing, analyzing, and displaying large data sets also a plus.
***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance***
• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Physics discipline(s).
• Educational background in computational electromagnetics, applied mathematics, or prior experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM)
• Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) in parallel processing environments
• Experience leading teams and interfacing with external customers. Experience in leading code development teams and basic project management skill sets desired
