Description of Responsibilities: The successful candidate will consult on projects for North American and international clients. Assignments will include geological modeling, resource estimation and reporting, engineering studies (scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility), operational advice, and due diligence\/independent reporting projects. Essential Requirements: - Bachelor`s degree in geology or mining engineering with a graduate degree in geology or geostatistics preferred; - Registered professional status or eligibility for registration in a professional organization; - Expert knowledge and use in computerized modeling or resource estimation tools (Vulcan, Datamine, Leapfrog); - A minimum of eight (8) years` experience in resource geology and mining; - Strong working knowledge of exploration and production geology; - Experience in both open pit and underground operations is desirable; - Experience in database validation and management, QA\/QC, and sampling protocol; - Qualified Person as recognized by the Canadian Institute of Mining (CIM) or Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC), to prepare 43-101 reports; - Strong time-management skills and well organized; and - Bilingual (English\/Spanish) will be highly regarded. This position involves working in multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects both nationally and overseas; international travel may form a significant part of the role.
