The Staff Scientist
will be part of the Research & Development group located at the Bartlesville Technology Center.
Responsibilities may include
Managing one or more research programs
Developing and executing laboratory and pilot plant experiments
Analyzing experimental results
Communicating experimental results through reports and presentations
Providing work direction to technicians
Creating new research ideas
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
PhD in Chemistry or closely related science
Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 for the undergraduate degree
Minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 for the graduate degree
Strong and proactive approach to safety
Ability to work in a team environment
Pilot plant operation experience
Knowledge of petroleum industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Phillips 66 Pipeline LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Phillips 66, operates more than 12,000 miles of pipelines in the United States. Additionally, the company owns or operates 39 finished-product terminals, five LPG terminals, 10 crude oil terminals and one petroleum coke exporting facility. Phillips 66 Pipeline LLC transports both raw and finished petroleum products, including crude oil, propane and refined products such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. The company also stores motor fuels at terminals, where tanker trucks pick them up for delivery to local retail outlets.
