Responsibilities:
Participate in the development, improvement, qualification of existing and new methods to support clinical manufacturing and the development activities of biological products
Development and qualification of separation-based analytical methods including CE-SDS, iCIEF, SEC, RP, IEX)
Proven record of method development, method qualification and technical transfer, and an ability to implement new methods and technologies and to use Design of Experiments approaches
Author and review technical documents and protocols
Support regulatory filing activities including IND and BLA, as necessary
Be a champion of safety in the lab
Qualifications:
PhD (0-3 years) /M.S (5 years)/B.S (7 years) in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related areas
Proficient in protein physico-chemical separation techniques using chromatography (e.g., SEC, IEX, HIC, RP) and/or capillary electrophoresis (e.g., CGE, CZE, ICIEF)
Desired - Experience in biopharmaceutical analytical method development and optimization, validation and tech transfer activities. Experience in resolving technical issues with a collaborative mindset and aptitude in innovation. Knowledge of analytical control of quality attributes such as size (aggregates, fragments), charge, glycans, protein content, protein modifications, and others.
Ability to author reports and present research and development data/hypothesis/conclusions.
Knowledge and working experience with chromatography and data analysis platforms such as Empower 3 and Chemstation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
