Bristol-Myers Squibb is seeking a highly motivated and talented Scientist to
join our in vivo team in the oncology group. The ideal candidate will possess
excellent communication and organization skills, enthusiasm, problem-solving
abilities, and a commitment to excellence. The candidate will work closely with other
disciplines within BMS to drive advancement of early stage projects into
clinical development, providing scientific and technical expertise in a highly
collaborative, fast-paced research environment. Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for the set up and
characterization of in vivo models. These preclinical experimental models
will be utilized to interrogate target biology, and assessment of PK-PD,
efficacy, drug combinations, and potential stratification markers/ biomarkers. In
addition, the Scientist 1 / 2 will contribute to synthesizing ideas into
research plans, presenting data at internal and external meetings, writing
technical summaries for regulatory documents, patent applications and
manuscripts.','!*!The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in cancer
biology, pharmacology, immunology or related field with 2 years postdoc training or industry
experienceStrong experience in rodent handling, surgical
skills and proficiency in common injection/dosing routes is required.A proven track record of cancer-related
publicationsHands-on expertise required to implement
preclinical in vivo cancer models (syngeneic, xenograft, patient-derived,
genetically engineered models) to recapitulate specific aspects of human tumor
biology, tumor microenvironment or immune pathways.Competence in laboratory techniques to
incorporate ex vivo mechanistic cell based assays, immunophenotyping using flow
cytometry to elucidate antibody mechanism of actionAn understanding of antibody based therapeutics
