Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for hiring new technicians and providing proper training. Meet daily with every shift for evaluations and due diligence.
Verify technician daily action check sheet.
Collaboration with Formulation Analyst and Production Supervisors.
Responsible for verification of micro data and results.
Manage and train microbiology analyst.
Responsible for further testing of positive micro results and follow up.
Responsible for shipment of lab samples for 3
rd
party testing.
Responsible for special orders for customer specifications.
Acting plant Chemist and Hygienist.
HPLC testing and machine maintenance.
Responsible for ordering materials for sample testing.
Result analysis and training of Batch Analyst and technicians.
Operations Analyst backup.
Responsible for Food Quality.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university is required; Science or Biology degree is preferred.
Must be able to write clearly and informatively, and be able to read and interpret written information
