Bachelors degree required Job Description: Responsible for providing material science testing and analysis within the Endoscopy R&D; engineering group under supervisor guidance Responsibilities: • Works “hands on” in performing testing of plastic and metal materials • Develops and or modifies test methods • Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of testing and analysis • Contributes or prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical community • Works cooperatively and collaboratively with peers, engineering personnel, technicians, and management • Experience with DSC, DMA, FTIR, and SEM a plus Education/Experience/Skills: BS degree in Plastics, Material Science, or Biomedical Engineering Shift: Business 1st Shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM) Duration: Duration could be 3-6 months depending on project need and budget availability.
