Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology
UC College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology, Allergy, and Rheumatology is seeking a Rhuematologist for a part-time position as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, with teaching and patient care responsibilities. Patient care responsibilities will include six 4-hour outpatient clinics each week and up to 8 weeks of consult service each year, as well as sharing in coverage of on-call schedules. Will participate in teaching of Medical Residents/Fellows/Students. Teaching duties will include precepting of medical students and/or residents in clinical activities, formal and informal lectures, and curriculum evaluation. A portion of time will also be devoted to clinical research activities in the area of rheumatology. Other responsibilities include participating in departmental and/or divisional service meetings or conferences and active participation in developing plans for growing Division of Immunology, Allergy, and Rheumatology.
Minimum Qualifications: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent, and the following by the time of appointment: Ohio Medical License; Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM), which is defined by completion of a 3 year residency training program in Internal Medicine.
Board Eligibility in Rheumatology, which is defined by completion of a 2 year fellowship specialty training in Rheumatology.
