Janssen Scientific Affairs is recruiting a highly motivated individual who has demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills. The CPS must be able to manage multiple responsibilities in this diverse and challenging role, including:
Collaborating with the broader CNS organization and business partners to map out a multi-year strategic plan to transform the paradigm of care for schizophrenia through 2020 and beyond. This will involve insight gathering and synthesis from internal and external partners, collaborations with Janssen Health Innovations, R&D;, and commercial partners to design and implement novel solutions for persons with schizophrenia.
Providing medical and scientific guidance and leadership to assigned scientific projects, including but not limited to congress presentations, publications, and research studies that may include interventional and non-interventional trials.
Providing medical and scientific leadership as a strategic partner on assigned commercial activities through effective proactive collaboration and influence without authority. The CPS will ensure the clinical appropriateness and relevance of assigned commercial activities.
','!*!Qualifications for the Associate Director, Clinical Project Scientist, CNS include:
A Bachelor's degree is required
An Advanced or Professional degree in Healthcare or Neuroscience is preferred
Knowledge of the Psychiatry therapeutic area is required; Schizophrenia is preferred
Candidate must be a highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a demonstrated track record of individual leadership and achievement
Should have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environmnet with cross functional teams
Experience in scientific writing and publication or communication strategy is a plus
Experience with data analysis and clinical research is a plus
