Physical Scientist Jobs
Scientists who study and analyze the properties and nature of nonliving matter are known as physical scientists. Physical scientists generally work in the field of environment. Physical scientists are responsible for providing technical advice in regard to program planning, development and evaluation, planning short and long term objectives for assigned projects and conducting physical science experimental development projects.
In the environmental field, a physical scientist may conduct research on climate, air quality etc and may conduct analysis and research related to climate monitoring. Additional duties may include planning, budgeting and execution of various research activities. A physical scientist may also be responsible for coordinating with other agencies and organizations and helping to obtain resources to support various research programs.
Physical scientist jobs are available to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in physical science or related fields. Previous experience is preferred. Other prerequisites include strong communication, organizational and mathematical skills.
