EmploymentCrossing, one of the world’s largest job-board operators, announced last week the launch of ScientistCrossing. As part of the EmploymentCrossing job-site franchise, ScientistCrossing seeks to list every scientist job in the United States in one convenient location. Using proprietary technology, ScientistCrossing monitors the scientist job postings on other job websites and other sources and displays every single scientist job it can find. ScientistCrossing’s goal is nothing less than to show job seekers every scientist job available.
Pasadena, CA — As always, the need for scientists and inventors is on the rise in the United States. A report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics reflects the fact that computer scientists are always in demand and states that computer scientist jobs should increase by a staggering 37% over the 2006-2016 decade. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has also stated that competition for jobs in this category is very high. Accordingly, those candidates who have earned a degree in any field will most likely gain access to product development ventures, but a master’s degree or PhD is needed for teaching and scientific research jobs.
With all of that in mind, the newly launched ScientistCrossing (www.scientistcrossing.com) aims to list all kinds of scientist jobs as well as provide details on career advancement opportunities and employment information for scientists in nearly all fields. With more than 5,000 jobs currently posted, ScientistCrossing is already the largest job board in the world for scientists in the fields of agriculture, geology, medicine, engineering, material science, aeronautics, atmosphere science, and various other disciplines.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, job prospects for computer scientists will be best during the 2006-2016 decade, while scientist jobs related to agriculture and atmosphere are predicted to grow by between 9% and 11%. ScientistCrossing’s mission is to provide comprehensive job listings to job seekers in various scientific fields.
“In this market it is extremely hard to get a job with a recruiter, and recruiters typically work with very few companies,” says Harrison Barnes, founder and CEO of ScientistCrossing. “Job openings that are not widely known or publicized are the easiest jobs to get.”
ScientistCrossing was launched to help scientists sort out the opportunities that they might not find out about otherwise. Unlike other job boards, the site focuses solely on scientist jobs, and it doesn’t charge employers to post jobs.
According to Barnes, the most popular searches on the website thus far have been:
scientist jobs
science jobs
science job
computer science jobs
environmental science jobs
forensic science jobs
jobs in science
exercise science jobs
food science jobs
computer science jobs
animal science jobs
science teaching jobs
scientist jobs
marine science jobs
“ScientistCrossing is a research company that works for job seekers,” Barnes says. “We seek to connect you to employers.”
Barnes emphasizes that ScientistCrossing is committed to finding new sources of jobs daily.
“There is an astonishing number of scientist job openings out there. We want to find them all,” he says.
ScientistCrossing charges $29.95 a month to view its job-opening research. As part of the site’s launch special, however, ScientistCrossing is offering a free, seven-day trial to allow job seekers to familiarize themselves with the service.

We keep a low profile (we do not advertise) and only allow subscribers on our site so there are fewer applications for the jobs we find.
The job site allows any job seekers with an Internet connection, free access. It aggressively advertises the job site to bring as many job seekers as they can to each job, so employers are flooded with applications and will pay to post again.
